On Gloomy Prognostications

In Astronomy Calendar of Celestial Events found on the Facebook Page Atheism & World Peace, 21 December 2012 represents, December Solstice,

“The December Solstice occurs at 11:12 UTC. The South Pole of the earth will be tilted toward the Sun, which will have reached its southernmost position in the sky and will be directly over the Tropic of Capricorn at 23.44 degrees south latitude. This is the first day of winter (winter solstice) in the northern hemisphere and the first day of summer (summer solstice) in the southern hemisphere.”

Do you see any sign of the “End of the World” in this statement at all? Definitely not! Is this

Since the days of the enlightenment of the first intellectual man of the caves, freed from his instinctual and emotional bondages, being transformed into a better and higher being every time onwards, there were dreamers of all kinds, from laymen to those who consider themselves to be self-appointed or prophets ‘hired’ by their ‘creators’ to prognosticate about the future situation of the human race, relying on the mythical explanations of the involvement of an ‘invisible hand’ or psychoanalytic approaches as an evidence, to recruit disciples from the head to the toe (from naïve followers to ‘visionary’ leaders, not necessarily politicians). But the reality behind the curtains to those scenarios of illusion of the dreamers’ forecasting role points towards another signpost: all dreamers are not real dreamers, all prophets are not true prophets…there are nightmarish dreamers, and gloomy and pessimistic prophets among those groups of people.
